Crypto community is developing, and people are indeed trying to make the crypto ecosystem better which in turn would improve the economic empowerment. The CEO of Square Jack Dorsey has taken a step towards the benefit of the crypto ecosystem by announcing that he will be hiring crypto engineers or crypto designers and would be paying them in terms of bitcoins.

Square is a financial service, merchant services aggregator and mobile payment company based in San Francisco. Square allows people to buy and sell Bitcoin on its Cash App – a mobile platform that competes with Venmo. Jack Dorsey founded square. He also is a founder of Twitter. He has been a crypto enthusiast all along, and we have seen him tweeting regarding cryptocurrencies once in a while. He tweeted expressing his love for the cryptocurrency, “I love this technology and community. I’ve found it to be deeply principled, purpose-driven, edgy, and…really weird. Just like the early internet! I’m excited to get to learn more directly,”

Also in his tweet on Wednesday 20 March 2019, he announced that “Square is hiring 3–4 crypto engineers and one designer to work full-time on open source contributions to the Bitcoin/crypto ecosystem. Work from anywhere, report directly to me, and we can even pay you in Bitcoin!”.

This will be Dorsey’s first open source initiative plan, and he said, “This will be Square’s first open source initiative independent of our business objectives. These folks will focus entirely on what’s best for the crypto community and individual economic empowerment, not on Square’s commercial interests,” and he also added, “All resulting work will be open and free.”

With all the regulations and Indians are still waiting for the response from Union of India to formulate crypto policy. Moreover, we hope we could get some good news for the Indians.
