Stock Market Updates : There has been a good opening in the domestic stock market today. The market opened in the green mark in IT, PSU public sector banks and pharma stocks. Sensex jumped up to 229 points in early trade. At the same time, Nifty also saw a good rise. The index is touching the level of 16,300. However, Asian markets were seen to falter today due to fall in gold and crude oil.

At 10.07 in the morning, the Sensex was trading at the level of 54,544.20 with a jump of 266.48 points or 0.49%. At the same time, during this time Nifty was registering a jump of 73.80 points i.e. 0.45% and the index was at the level of 16,312.00.

In the opening, the Sensex opened at the level of 54401.73 with a jump of 124.01 points or 0.23%, while the Nifty gained 45.60 points or 0.28% and the index opened at the level of 16283.80. In the opening, about 1495 shares rose and 533 shares fell.

Let us tell you that this week the quarterly results of the companies will be monitored. The quarterly results of MRF, Amtek Auto, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd., Lupine, Eicher Motors, Tata Steel, Grasim Industries, NBCC and ONGC are to come this week. Apart from this, the government is going to release industrial production (IIP) for the month of June and inflation data for July this week.
