In the coming time, SBI employees will be able to work from anywhere. The bank will add facilities for employees to work from anywhere in its system.

SBI Chairman Rajneesh Kumar (SBI Chairman Rajneesh Kumar) says that a strategy to work from anywhere will save Rs 1,000 crore. The bank is currently preparing a basic infrastructure for this.

Rajneesh Kumar said these things while addressing the 65th annual general meeting of the bank. Talking further about this, Kumar said that the entire focus of the bank will be on reducing costs, rationalizing the workforce, enhancing their skills, improving productivity and removing them from administrative offices to sales offices, etc.

During the bank’s AGM, Kumar also answered questions from the shareholders. On the issue of rights issue, he said that the government has a stake in the bank, in such a situation, the government will have to invest to bring the rights issue so that its stake does not matter. Apart from this, while talking about further plans of the bank, he said that SBI may soon get approval to raise capital of Rs 20,000 crore through equity.
