Petrol Diesel Prices: Petrol-diesel prices are stable for two consecutive days after Thursday’s cut.

Fuel Prices Today: Saturday, April 17, 2021 is the second consecutive day in the country when there has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel. Earlier on Thursday, the price of fuel was cut by 14 to 16 paise. But then on Friday, prices were held steady. Let me tell you that these cuts came when Brent crude rose in the international crude market. However, before that the prices had fallen, there was no effect on the domestic prices of fuel.

After Thursday’s cut, the price is again being fixed for the next few days because the same pattern has been seen for some time. In the first two months of this year, fuel prices had increased wildly, but from the beginning of March, there was a break on the prices, behind which the assembly elections are being considered.
If we talk about the current prices, the price of petrol in Delhi is being reduced from Rs 90.56 to Rs 90.40 per liter. At the same time, diesel is reduced from 81.10 to 80.73 rupees per liter.
Talking about Mumbai, petrol is being sold at Rs 96.83 per liter and diesel is selling at Rs 87.81 per liter. Petrol in Chennai is being sold at Rs 92.43 per liter and diesel 85.75 per liter. In Kolkata, petrol is priced at Rs 90.62 and diesel is priced at Rs 83.61 per liter.
In the crude market, futures prices are continuously rising. Crude oil futures prices recorded a spurt in Friday’s trade. Due to strong spot demand, traders increased the size of their deals, causing the price of crude in the futures market to rise by Rs 7 to Rs 4,749 a barrel on Friday.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil contract delivery for the month of April rose by Rs 7, or 0.15 per cent, to Rs 4,749 per barrel. It traded for 3,266 lots.
