Petrol and diesel prices have increased for the second consecutive day. In the country’s capital Delhi, the price of diesel had crossed Rs 81. While petrol may soon cross Rs 91. On the other hand, the price of crude oil is increasing in the international market. Brent crude oil prices have come in at $ 70 per barrel, while WTI is trading at $ 66.44 a barrel. According to experts, there may be an increase in the price of petrol and diesel in the coming days.

Increase in the price of petrol
According to the information received from IOCL, the price of petrol has increased for the second consecutive day in the four metros of the country. The capital of the country, Delhi, has seen the largest increase. Today, there was an increase of 19 paise in Delhi, 16 paise in Kolkata, Mumbai 17 paise and 15 paise per liter in Chennai. After this, petrol prices in these four metros have gone up to Rs 90.74, 90.92, 97.12 and 92.70 per liter respectively.

Increase in price of diesel
According to the information received from IOCL, the price of diesel is increasing for the second consecutive day in the four metros of the country. There has been an increase of 21 paise per liter in the country’s capital Delhi and Mumbai, after which the prices in the two metros have been increased to Rs 81.12 and Rs 88.19 per liter respectively. On the other hand, there has been an increase of 20 paise in Kolkata and 19 paise per liter in Chennai. After this, the prices in both metros have been Rs 83.98 and 86.09 per liter respectively.
