new Delhi. The country’s largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India, has set another record. The company has sold more than two lakh cars through digital medium. According to information provided by the company, this digital platform was launched two years ago. After which, never looked back from the company. With this platform, the company has connected around 1000 dealers across the country.

Digital inquiries increase threefold
According to Shashank Srivastava, executive director, marketing and sales, Maruti Suzuki India, the digital platform for vehicle sales was launched in 2018. Digital inquiries have increased more than three times. Their sales through the digital platform have crossed two lakh units since April 2019.

21 crossed digital inquiry
According to Shashank Srivastava, the number of customers’ inquiries through the digital platform has reached 21 lakhs. Srivastava, citing ‘Google Auto Gear Shift India -2020 Report’, said that 95 percent of sales of new cars are affected digitally. Customers can get complete information through online before purchasing any vehicle. Then go to the dealer.
