Kisan Credit Card Scheme: Modi government has made the process for Kisan Credit Card (KCC) extremely easy. This is going to benefit crores of beneficiaries of PM Kisan Scheme. Benefits of Kisan Credit Card
About 2.5 lakh farmers will benefit through Kisan Credit Card. Loans are provided to the farmers at a cheaper rate through the Kisan Credit Card. Although the loan is available at the rate of 9 percent, but the government gives a subsidy of 2 percent through this card. At the same time, the farmer returns this loan on time, then he gets a further rebate of 3%. That is, the farmer only has to pay interest at the rate of 4 percent. Different banks and NBFCs are providing Kisan Credit Cards.
Loan to be deposited by 31 August
However, farmers who have taken loans under KCC will have to pay their loan by 31 August. If farmers pay the loan in full by 31 August, they will have to pay 4% interest. Otherwise, the normal rate of interest will be 7%.
