Thiruttu Pele 2 was released in 2017. It was directed by Susi Ganesan. The film featured Bobby Simha, Prasanna and Amala Paul in the lead roles. The shooting of its Hindi remake so far has been done extensively in Varanasi and Lucknow. Urvashi will be seen romancing with actor Vineet Kumar Singh.

He was last seen in a comedy-drama film titled Virgil Bhanupriya. In this, Gautam Gulati and Archana Puran Singh also played important roles with him.
