Dharmendra and Hema married in the year 1980. It is said that it was not easy for Hema to marry Dharmendra. Because Dharmendra was already married.

Regarding his birthday, Dharmendra said, ‘People tell me that I am turning 85, but I stopped counting my age of 60 years. I have lived life to the fullest and life has kept me young. I am about to work at the age of 85 and am not doing an elderly type role in ‘Apne 2’.
