Opening with gains in stock markets, Sensex-Nifty rises.

Stock Market Updates : Domestic stock markets opened in the green on Monday amid strong global cues. In the last trading session, both the benchmark indices closed with a fall, but today the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty have opened with gains. Nifty is open above 15,700, while Sensex is maintaining level above 52,100.

In early trading, the Sensex gained 22.83 points or 0.044 at 9.59 in the morning and the index was at a level of 52,122.88. During this Nifty remained at the level of 15,702.25. The index gained 32.00 points or 0.20%.

At 09:16 in the opening, the Sensex rose by 85.53 points, or 0.16%, and the index was trading at the level of 52185.58. During this, Nifty was at the level of 15708.20 with a gain of 37.90 points or 0.24%. Around 1678 shares rose and 270 shares fell. No change was recorded in 78 stocks during this period.

21 shares of the 30-share Sensex have opened in the green mark. Today the eyes are on metal and auto stocks.

Asian markets have seen a rally today. SGX Nifty gained 27 points. Nifty futures were at the level of 15,736 at 7:30 am. MSCI’s index rose 0.3 percent. Japan’s Nikkei rose 1.0 percent. South Korea’s Kospi gained 0.7 percent.

If we talk about the last trading session, then on Friday, the Sensex closed down by 132 points. The Reserve Bank had retained the policy rates in the monetary policy review on that day, while reducing the GDP growth rate estimate for the current financial year, due to which the market came down due to profit-booking in the shares of banks, energy and FMCG companies.

The 30-share Sensex closed at 52,100.05, down 132.38 points, or 0.25 percent.
NSE Nifty also closed at 15,670.25, down 20.10 points or 0.13 percent.

The market capitalization (market cap) of seven companies in the top 10 of sex increased by Rs 1,15,898.82 crore last week. Reliance Industries was the biggest gainer. Market cap of Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, Hindustan Unilever, HDFC, State Bank of India, Bajaj Finance and Kotak Mahindra Bank increased.
