Tremendous rise in stock markets, Nifty above 15,650.

Stock Market Updates : There is tremendous growth in the domestic stock markets today. The market, which has recovered from yesterday’s volatility, is on the edge today. The index Nifty of the National Stock Exchange has once again reached a new record high today. On the other hand, the index Sensex of Bombay Stock Exchange has also registered a jump. In the opening, Nifty opened above the level of 15,650. Sensex jumped over 300 points in early trade.

At 10.35 in the morning, the Sensex was trading at 52,110.09, jumping 260.61 points or 0.50%. At the same time, Nifty was at the level of 15,651.70. During this, the index had registered a jump of 75.50 points i.e. 0.48%.

In the opening, the Sensex jumped 268.36 points or 0.52% to open at the level of 52117.84, while the Nifty jumped 82.20 points or 0.53% to open at 15658.40. About 1528 shares rose, 278 shares fell, 51 shares remained stable. Asian markets were seen slipping slightly below three-month highs.

If we look at yesterday’s closing, the stock market, recovering from the fall during trading on Wednesday, finally closed steady for the second consecutive day. Rise in the market share in Reliance Industries, profit-booking in financial, IT and FMCG stocks made up for the loss.

According to traders, the continuous fall in the rupee’s exchange rate against the US dollar also affected investor sentiment. The Sensex had once gone to the lowest level of 51,450.58 during trading. But later it improved and in the end it closed at 51,849.48, down 85.40 points or 0.16 percent from the previous day. On the other hand, Nifty closed almost stable at 15,576.20 with a nominal gain of 1.35 points or 0.01 per cent.

ITC was the biggest loser of 2.88 percent among the stocks included in the Sensex. The stock came down a day after the company’s financial results were announced. ITC reported a net profit of Rs 13,389.80 crore in 2020-21 as against Rs 15,584.56 crore in the previous fiscal.
