The NSE Nifty has reached the level of 14,400 today amid weak global cues. The BSE Sensex opened 244.16 points, or 0.50%, down at 48,972.36 with an opening at 09:16 in the morning. The Nifty is also open at a level of 14,486.50, taking a decline of 71.40 points i.e. 0.49%. There has been a rise in about 352 stocks, while there has been a decline in 1050 shares, there is no change in 53 shares.

Yesterday the Sensex had climbed to around 500 points at the start of trading, but finally the Sensex fell 585.10 points, or 1.17 percent, to close at 49,216.52 points and the Nifty also fell 163.45 points or 1.11 percent to 14,557.85 points from the previous day.
