Share Market: Sensex-Nifty rally up; Metal, Pharma and PSU banking indices rise by 2%


The stock market remains bullish, Nifty above 14,900.

Stock Market Updates: The trading week has started with a good opening on Monday in the domestic stock market. The momentum of the last trading session is also maintained this week. Today global signs also looked positive. Today, there was a significant increase in both the indexes in the opening.

At 10.45 am, the Sensex recorded a gain of 351 points, or 0.71 per cent, and the index was trading at a level of 491558.10, while the Nifty gained 113.30 points or 0.76 per cent during this period and the index was at 14,936.45.

Looking at the opening, the BSE Sensex opened 355.75 points or 0.73 per cent higher at 49,557.45 levels at 9:18 am. At the same time, NSE Nifty opened at 14,937.10 with an increase of 120.20 points i.e. 0.82 percent. BSE Midcap gained 0.5 percent and BSE Smallcap rose 0.9 percent.

25 stocks of 30-share Sensex opened in green mark. Today the metal, pharma and PSU banking indices have risen by 2 per cent, while the energy sector has recorded a growth of 1 per cent.

Asian markets also saw a boom today. Japan’s Nikkei gained 0.3 percent to close with a record high of the Dow S&P 500 on Friday. The Dow rose 0.66 percent, while the S&P 500 gained 0.74 percent. Nasdaq gained 0.88 percent.
