The government has issued different toll-free numbers for each state. You can check these numbers by visiting the official website of NFSA https://nfsa.gov.in/portal/State_UT_Toll_Free_AA. You can register a complaint about the dealer in your area by calling the helpline number given here. If any card holders are facing difficulty in getting free food, then they can complain about it in the concerned District Food and Supplies Controller’s Office or the State Consumer Assistance Center. If the ration dealer in your area indulges in giving grain, makes a mess in weight or charges you more than you arbitrarily, then you can also complain about this by visiting the NFSA website. Because such behavior of ration dealer in distribution of food grains would be considered as violation of government orders. The dealer’s license can be canceled even if the case is found to be true.
