Railway Minister Piyush Goyal launched this card in a virtual way, the special thing is that with this new card customers will be able to book tickets as well as online shopping.
Ticket booking will be even cheaper – Through this car, passengers will get cashback rewards for booking tickets online (Ticket Boooking). With this card, customers will also get 10% value back rewards points for booking AC one AC to AC3 and Sleeper class train tickets.
On the occasion of the launch of this card, Piyush Goyal said that we all wish that more than 3 crore people can access the IRCTC SBI RuPay card till December 25, 2020, the birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Bajpai.
Joining fees will be ₹ 500To take this card of SBI and IRCTC, the customers will have to spend ₹ 500, but if you take this card by the same year i.e. 30 December 2020, then you will not have to pay any joining fees. Not only this, as soon as the card is activated, 350 points will be added to your account, the price of each point will be ₹ 1 and this will result in the rail ticket being deducted on the rail website.
You will get more benefits –Using this, you will not only get 10% cashback but if you want to fill petrol diesel in your trains with the help of this card, then the charge on the credit card will not be charged from you.
34000 tickets are booked online –Talking about online ticket booking, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said that every year about 30 crore tickets are booked online from the Railways and through this the revenue of about 34000 crores is earned. This is the reason why we have set a target that 10 percent of the 30 crore tickets be completed this year by 25 December 2020. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said that he himself would personally monitor where the number of customers joining the card is. Officially, a team of three organizations will be set up to monitor it and the Railway Minister will be informed every 15 days about how many people are taking advantage of this card facility.
