The scheme investor will get an annual interest of 7.66 per cent in the initial year. At the same time, on 1 April every year, the central government will decide its interest rates. Senior citizens get a guaranteed pension at a fixed rate for 10 years under the scheme by opting for a monthly pension option. Apart from this, the deposit is also returned along with the final payment of pension after 10 years.
