There has been a break on Sunday on the continuous increase in the prices of petrol and diesel. Oil companies have not increased the prices of oil on Sunday, July 11. Yesterday petrol became costlier by 35 paise per liter and diesel by 26 paise per liter. According to the Indian Oil Corporation, today in the national capital Delhi, petrol is Rs 100.91 and diesel is only Rs 89.88 per liter.
At the same time, in the financial capital Mumbai, the price of a liter of petrol is Rs 106.92 while the price of a liter of diesel is Rs 97.46. The retail prices of petrol and diesel in Kolkata are Rs 101.67 and Rs 94.39 per liter respectively.
Petrol crosses 100 in many parts of the country
Petrol is being sold beyond Rs 100 in many parts including four major metro cities of the country. Petrol and diesel prices in the country have increased wildly in the year 2021. If you compare from January till now, the price of petrol has increased by Rs 18 only, while diesel has also increased by about Rs 16.
