Misfit reportedly set to launch its products in India at GMIC Bangalore
With a lot of people becoming health conscious, over a year health based app have gained popularity in the country. A new niche segment has emerged leveraging this concept – Wearable band. Wearable companies are working aggressively for making it easier for users to discover their products and enrol into membership programs to get fit.
Misfit is one among such companies and is reportedly expected to launch its products in India. Misfit is holding a press conference on Thursday, at GMIC event in Bangalore to announce their launch in India. Post conference, Christy Le, COO and CFO is expected to deliver the keynote at the launch event.
According to source as of now, there are no details on their operation and service centre location or e-commerce tie up in India. While it’s also a suspense on the product that will be launched in India.
Misfit, is a hardware company that designs and manufactures wearable products that utilise sensor technology. Founded in 2011 by Sonny Vu, President and CEO. Headquarters in the USA.
Currently, company has six major wearable product in line with fitness. The Shine is the flagship product produced by Misfit launched in 2012. It is a tracker, made of solid aircraft grade aluminium that gives users insights on activities such as moving and sleeping. The Flash is their second activity tracker product. It is made of soft touch plastic that comes in seven colours.
