Due to which the Sensex managed to cross 44650 points today, while the Nifty 50 crossed 13100 points. GAIL shares gained nearly 9 per cent. While Sun Pharma 6 and IndusInd Bank saw a gain of 5 percent. Market investors gained more than two lakh crore rupees due to the boom in the market.
Tremendous boom in the stock market today
There was a strong buying in the stock market today. The Bombay Stock Exchange’s flagship index Sensex gained 505.72 points to end at 44,655.44 points. While the National Stock Exchange’s major index Nifty 50 has gained 140.10 points to close at 13,109.05 points. BSE Small Cap 137.89, BSE Mid-Cap 158.43 and Foreign Investors Index CNX Midcap closed with a big gain of 188.80 points.
Outside the sectoral index
Today the sectoral index has been a good leader. Especially in IT and Oil sector. Both ended with a gain of 516.43 and 280.49 points. BSE Auto has seen a gain of 236.35 points. Bank exchanges closed up 213.66 points and Bank Nifty gained 208.75 points. While Capital Goods has seen a gain of 130.64 points. BSE Healthcare 288.22, BSE Metal 153.65, BSE Tech 241.58, BSE PSU 80.53 and BSE FMCG closed up by 4.51 points. While consumer durables closed with a loss of 42.67 points.
Rising and falling shares
Talking of the first rising stocks, GAIL India 7.84 per cent, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries 5.41 per cent, IndusInd Bank 4.41 per cent, ONGC 3.89 per cent and UPL shares have gained 3.67 per cent. While Nestle India 2.63 per cent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 1.64 per cent, Titan Company 1.48 per cent, NTPC 1 per cent and Bajaj Finance shares declined by 0.97 per cent.
Investors gain 2 lakh crores
