new Delhi. Every month some portion is deducted from the salary of the employees, which is deposited in the Provident Fund (PF Account). This deposit is very useful for the future. Especially after retirement. But in case of emergency, you can withdraw its money. In the Coronaco, millions of people applied to withdraw funds to the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization. By the way, to withdraw money from PF, it is very important to have a Universal Account Number, i.e. UAN, with the account holder. You cannot withdraw money without it, but today we will show you the way through which your problem will be solved in a pinch. So let’s know what the process is.

Composite Claim Form will work
If no one has a UAN number, you can use the Aadhaar based composite claim form or Non-Aadhaar based composite claim form. You can apply for withdrawal of money from PF by submitting it offline. You can download this form from EPFO office or from its official website.

Process to apply from the form
1. If you are applying through the Aadhaar based Composite Claim Form, then fill in the information requested and submit it to your Regional PF Office. In this process you will not need to get it certified from your office.

2. If you have downloaded the non-Aadhaar composite form, then after filling this form, it will have to be attested. For this, you will have to verify it from the PF office so that the money can directly reach the beneficiary’s account.

3. If you want, you can also authenticate the form with any gazetted officer, bank manager or magistrate. After this you have to submit the form to your nearest regional office.

Check PF Balance
Several options exist to find the PF balance without a UAN. You can check the balance either through EPFO portal or by giving missed calls to special helpline numbers issued from UMANG app and PF office and through SMS service. However, you must have your registered mobile number. For this, you can check the PF balance by giving a missed call on 011-229014016 from your registered mobile number.
