His credentials might not be known to many people, but investment banker Alexander Asiedu has indulged himself in various philanthropist activities apart from being the chairman of more than twenty companies located in Dubai and Ghana. Starting from oil palm plantations, real estate development, warehousing, steel manufacturing, energy services, tank farm development to banking and hospitality industry, Alexander Asiedu has excelled in managing different genre of companies. His companies have employed nearly 3,000 people.
Furthermore, Asiedu is also the founder of Ghanaian non-profitable organisation African Rights Initiative. Nearly six-year-old NGO, it has provided shelter and hopes to children in rural and underprivileged communities of Africa. Basic amenities such as water, sanitation facilities, food and health care are provided to the helpless children.
Post pursuing his MBA in Finance and a Post-graduate certificate in Finance and Investments, Asiedu has worked as an investment banker with JP Morgan Chase in the mergers and acquisitions group for nearly 16 years.
Apart from owning majority shares in different companies, Alexander Asiedu is the chairman of the Atlantic Trust Holding Limited and Atlantic Holdings of Dubai.
