In this regard, the Minister of State for Personnel says that this decision has been taken in order to avoid the risk of pandemic and congestion in pension sharing banks. This decision of the organization will directly benefit over 35 lakh pensioners associated with EPFO ​​and more than 65 lakh pensioners associated with the center. Pensioners who have not submitted life certificate this year can submit it by February next year.

Special window arrangement
For pensioners above 80 years of age, submission of life proof will be even easier. Because the government has made special window arrangements for them. So that they can easily submit certificates. During this, they do not even have to worry about congestion. Apart from this, pensioners can also submit life certificates in the 3.65 lakh Common Service Centers (CSC), Pension Disbursing Banks Branch, Post Office, etc. across the country.

The government is giving another option to avoid crowds or any problem to pensioners while submitting life certificates in the bank or post office. How to get a life certificate
Many options are now available to get a life certificate. Pensioners can get digital life certificates from the Umang app. For this, download the app from Google Play Store. Now search for life proof in it. Then connect the biometric device to your mobile. Click on the option of “General Life Certificate” here. Here, your Aadhaar number and mobile number will appear in the pension authentication tab. If both things are correct then click on the generated OTP button. After doing this, OTP will come on your mobile. Fill in the app and submit it. Now scan your fingerprint with the help of a biometric device. A digital life certificate will be created when your thumbprints match the existing details. Apart from this, you can also take advantage of online facility of SBI.
