For this, Tata Group owner Ratan Tata has launched door-to-door diesel delivery facility. It is part of the Tata group’s new fuel startups.

Door-to-door diesel delivery will be handled by Repos Energy. In this, the start up company will work with different oil marketing companies. In which these companies will provide diesel to the customer. Currently, this service has been started in Delhi, Gurgaon, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. The plan of this startup is to make 3,200 repos mobile petrol pumps in the coming time and deliver home delivery of diesel at people’s homes as per the need.

More benefit to them
According to the operator of Pune-based Repos Energy Company, home delivery of diesel is now done through petrol pumps. The main focus of the company is not to bear the burden of spending on delivering diesel to the home. Doorstep deliveries are being made to the agricultural sector, hospitals, housing societies, heavy machinery facilities, mobile towers and many companies through repos mobile petrol pumps.

Oil companies sought EoIs
According to a business magazine report, OMCs like Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation have sought expressions of interest (EoIs) for home delivery of high-speed Diesel from start-ups. Firms operating as partners of OMCs in the sector will become official resellers (FuelEnts). There is a lot of enthusiasm among start ups about this.
