Gold-Silver Price Updates : There was a sharp fall in the prices of gold in the domestic spot market on Tuesday. The spot price of gold had fallen by more than Rs 800, while silver had come down by more than Rs 1500. But on Wednesday morning, there is a jump in the prices of gold futures in the futures market. For the past few days, the futures market was also witnessing sluggishness. On the Multi-Commodity Exchange on 10.09 in the morning, gold prices rose by Rs.159 or 0.34% and the price of gold was Rs.47,593 per 10 grams. In the last trading session, gold had closed at Rs 47,434. During this, silver rose by Rs.250 or 0.4% and the metal was recorded at Rs.62,759 per kg. In the last trading session, its closing was done at Rs 62,509.

In the international market, if you look at GoldPrice.org, gold was falling 0.67 percent on MCX at 10.12 am Indian time in the international market and the metal was trading at Rs 4,294.85 per gram. At the same time, silver was down by 2.95 per cent at Rs 56,382.11 per kg.

Big drop in spot prices

After Monday night’s fall in the prices of precious metals in the international markets, gold prices on Tuesday closed at Rs 46,896 per 10 grams with a loss of Rs 810 in the Delhi bullion market. Due to this, gold had closed at Rs 47,706 per 10 grams in the previous trading session. Silver also declined by Rs 1,548 to Rs 62,720 per kg. Silver had closed at Rs 64,268 per kg in the previous trading session. HDFC Securities’ Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “After the fall in Comex (New York-based Commodity Exchange) on Tuesday, the spot price of 24 carat gold in Delhi fell by Rs 810.”
