E-commerce company Flipkart Starting its new 90-minute delivery service. The company has announced the launch of ‘Flipkart Quick’ as its hyperlocal service. Under this service, the e-commerce company will deliver groceries and household goods. Reuters According to the report of, some places in Bengaluru have been identified for this service, that is, after the commencement of this service, it will be available only at certain places in Bengaluru. At the same time, the company has not announced any date for launching at the moment.

The company has said that customers will get delivery facility from 6 am to midnight on Flipkart Quick. Customers will also have to pay a fee of just Rs 29 to avail this facility. Flipkart Vice President Chanakya Gupta said, ‘Now we have the ability to bring the network of neighborhood grocery shops to this platform in just one click’.

According to the report, the e-commerce company under the jurisdiction of US company Walmart has said that it will also take orders related to mobile phones and stationery rather than just limiting the delivery of Flipkart Quick to grocery and home accessories. With this move, the company wants to get ahead of platforms like Grofers and MilkBasket in the delivery of groceries, in addition to the 90-minute delivery of goods other than grocery, it also wants to compete with the giant giant Amazon.

Let me tell you that in the recent past, people in big cities of India started giving preference to ordering groceries online, but due to coronavirus many people have started adopting this facility. In such a situation, many companies of the market have taken advantage of the opportunity to start online ordering of grocery and everyday things. In addition to Grofers, BigBasket, MilkBasket, Flipkart and Amazon already offer grocery deliveries, but then online food delivery platforms including Dunzo, Zomato and Swiggy have also launched the service in lockdown.
