New Delhi. From June 1, many changes are taking place in the services and rules related to your daily needs. First thing about Employees Provident Fund. EPFO is going to make it mandatory to link PF account with Aadhaar. At the same time, the website of the Income Tax Department will not work from June 1 to June 6. Keeping in mind the convenience of the taxpayers, a new website is being launched for filing returns.

Changes will affect life

1- Linking PF account with Aadhaar will now be necessary-
Employees’ Provident Fund Organization has given instructions to employers regarding PF that after June 1, if an account is not linked with Aadhaar or UNS Aadhaar is not verified, then its electronic challan cum return will not be filed.

2- Income Tax Department will launch new website-
The Income Tax Department is going to launch a new website to provide better facilities to the taxpayers. For this, the website of Income Tax Department will be closed from June 1 to 6. The new portal e-filing 2.0 will start on 7th June for filing returns.

3- More tax on earning from YouTube-
You may have to pay tax on the earnings from YouTube. This new tax policy of YouTube will start from June 2021. Indian YouTube content creators will also come under the ambit of this tax, who will have to pay 24 percent tax.

4- Traveling by domestic air will now be expensive-
There has been an increase of 13 to 16 percent in the fares of different duration aircraft. The minimum fare for a distance of 40 minutes has been raised from Rs 2,300 to Rs 2,600. At the same time, the fare for 60 minutes flight will be Rs 3,300 instead of 2,900.

5- The rule of payment by check in BOB will change-
Bank of Baroda (BOB) is going to change the rules of check payment of the bank from June 1. The bank is implementing Positive Pay Confirmation. Customers will have to get confirmed on check payment of more than two lakhs. Information has to be given in advance.
