It will be 8.15 percent. While the second installment will be 0.35 per cent. It will also be paid by December. The payment process is expected to begin before Diwali. In such a situation, if your PF account is not activated, then fix it. Also, if there is any other lapse, rectify it otherwise money will not come in the account.
Check balance on website
To check PF account balance, one can log on EPFO website epfindia.gov.in. Click on your e-passbook here. A new page will open as you do so. In this, the account holder has to fill his username (UAN number), password and captcha. Submit after filling all information. Now select the member id on the new page. By doing this, you can easily see the balance in the account.
Umang app is also helpful
PF account holders can also check PF balance through the Umang app. For this, you have to click on the option of EPFO on the app. After this, you have to click on employee-centric services. Go to the view passbook here and enter the UAN number and password (OTP). You can see the balance when doing so.
Money can get stuck due to wrong documents
If the account number is wrongly entered in the EPFO records then the money can get stuck. This may cause your application to be rejected. So verify it. Apart from this, the application can be canceled even if the KYC of the PF account is not completed. For claims on PF money it is also very important to have the account linked to UAN (Universal Account Number).
