According to information received from IOCL, the price of petrol has increased from 17 paise per liter to 20 paise per liter in the four metros of the country. Petrol price has seen an increase of 20 paise per liter in Delhi, after which the price has been increased to Rs 82.86 per liter. While Kolkata and Mumbai have seen an increase of 19 paise per liter. After which the prices in both the metros have gone up to Rs 84.37 and Rs 89.52 per liter respectively. Increase in price of diesel
According to information received from IOCL, the price of diesel has increased by 23 paise per liter in all the four metros of the country. After this, the price has been increased to Rs 73.07 in Delhi and Rs 76.64 per liter in Kolkata. On the other hand, there has been an increase of 24 paise in Mumbai and 21 paise per liter in Chennai. After this, the price of diesel in both metros has been increased to 79.66 and 78.45 rupees per liter respectively.

Increased this much in November and December
Since November, petrol and diesel prices have seen a huge increase. If we talk about petrol, then in all the four metros of the country, there has been an increase of more than Rs 1.75 per liter. The capital of the country saw an increase of Rs 1.80 per liter, Kolkata Rs 1.77, Mumbai Rs 1.78 and Chennai Rs 1.63 per liter. At the same time, in the capital of the country, diesel has become expensive by Rs 2.62 per liter. While Kolkata became costlier by Rs 2.66, in Mumbai by Rs 2.80 and Chennai by Rs 2.49.
