New Delhi. In the matter of GST collection, the Modi government of the center has got a big relief for the fifth consecutive month. In the month of February, the government has received GSST collection beyond Rs 1 lakh crore. From October 2020 to February 2021, the GST collection is continuously coming to more than one lakh crore rupees. In February 2021, gross GST revenue has shown an increase of seven per cent year-on-year. The GST collection has been recorded at over Rs 1.13 lakh crore in this month.

From where hua how much collection
An official statement said that in February 2021, the government received Rs 21,092 crore as CGST, Rs 27,273 crore under SGST and Rs 55,253 crore as IGST, of which Rs 24,382 crore was received from import of goods and cess. (Cess), the government received Rs 9,525 crore. The total revenue after regular settlement and ad-hoc settlement of the Center and States in the month of February 2021 is Rs 67,490 crore for CGST and Rs 68,807 crore for SGST.

Crosses 1.11 Lakh Crore for the third consecutive month
This is good news for the central government on the revenue front. This is the third consecutive month when the GST collection has been more than 1.11 lakh crore and for the fifth consecutive month the government has received more than one lakh crore rupees GST. Despite the Corona epidemic, it clearly shows the rapid economic growth of the country. Now GST collection has increased due to recovery in economic activity. The Finance Ministry statement said that this is a clear indication of the impact of various measures taken by the tax administration to improve economic and compliance.
