New Delhi: The Atal Pension Yojna was launched by the government for people working in low income (LIG) and unorganized sector. This scheme of the government is quite popular among the people, but now the government is going to make a big mess in it.
Change in premium
In fact, if the account holders want to change their premium amount under the Atal Pension Yojana, then they can do this anytime of the year. According to PFRDA, in this arrangement APY shareholders will be able to change their income and APY premium. The organization can consider their request at any time. Earlier account holders could only do this in the month of Arail. By the way, under Atal Pension Yojna (APY), any person can get maximum 5000 rupees monthly i.e. 60 thousand rupees annually. You know that under the Atal Pension Yojana, about 2.28 crore shareholders are registered.
Auto Debit Rules came into force from July
The period of exemption from auto debit in ‘Atal Pension Yojana’ has expired on June 30. Which means that from July, auto debit will start once again from the account of those investing in this scheme. The government had abolished the auto debit condition of the scheme till June (CHANGES IN ATAL PENSION YOJANA) as most of the beneficiaries under this scheme are from lower and unorganized sector. Now this month i.e. from July, the installments going for this scheme from the account holders of this scheme will start cutting once again.
