Authorized resellers in India now sell iPad Pro, a new variant for Rs 67900. Related accessories for the same device are priced Rs. 8600 for the Apple pencil and Rs. 14900 for the iPad Smart Keyboard. However, it has been reported by the resellers that these accessories will not be available with them for sale on Tuesday.
iPad Pro, the largest tablet among the family of Apple iPads till date, was released at Apple’s mega September event. Two variants are available based on the difference in storage capacity. iPad Pro WiFi-only model costs Rs. 67900 and has a 32 GB storage space. iPad Pro WiFi model with 128 GB storage space costs Rs. 79900. The third model which has 128 GB storage space along with a combination of WiFi and Cellular is the most expensive of the three and is sold at Rs. 91900.
iPad Pro has a 12.9-inch screen which has a pixel resolution of 2732×2048, packing in beyond 5.6 million pixels. It is also equipped with a unique “desktop class” A9X SoC which is indeed 1.8 times faster than its antecedent in CPU tasks as per the company. The company had as well claimed that this model of iPad is much faster than most of the mobile Personal Computers that have been shipped in the last six months.
Additional features of iPad Pro are an 8 MP iSight camera with the ability to record videos in full HD resolution, “full-day” battery life along with four speakers. The device is also powered by iOS 9 and holds good for multitasking such as Slide Over, Split View, and Picture-in-Picture.
Due to unavailability of stocks, the iPad Pro accessories will not be available on Tuesday according to various retailers. The global launch of the device also witnessed a shortage of supply of Apple Pencil during the meet.
