The soon-to-be parents Arpita Khan Sharma and Aayush Sharma celebrated the baby shower on the Valentine’s Day at a hotel in Mumbai. The event grabbed limelight as it was attended by many Bollywood celebrities, apart from the Khan family and friends. Reportedly, actor Salman Khan took a day off from the shoot of his film Sultan along with actress Anushka Sharma to attend the baby shower of his youngest sister.
From Sangeeta Bijlani, Elli Avram, Sneha Ullal, Kabir Khan and wife Mini Mathur to Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra, everybody was present for the occasion. Even actor Riteish Deshmukh along with wife Genelia attended the baby shower and surprisingly Genelia didn’t shy away from the cameras and showed her baby bump.
Genelia was seen getting clicked with Arpita and TV actress Kanchi Kaul who is also expecting her second child.
If rumours are to be believed, then Arpita had also invited actress Katrina Kaif. However, she failed to be present at the event as she was busy shooting Jagga Jasoos.
Amid the galore, Sohail Khan’s wife, Malaika Arora Khan and Arbaaz Khan were missing from the baby shower. A lot of speculations are doing the rounds about trouble in the marriage of Arbaaz Khan and his brother Sohail Khan. Though the duo has denied the rumours, the absence cannot be ignored as well.
The baby shower was another celebration moment for Arpita after she had a private celebration moment with her girl friends in Dubai in a private villa.
The 26-year-old Khan married Delhi-based businessman Aayush Sharma in November 2014.
